1. Who we are

Albania Dental Care ("Albania Dental Care", "we", "us") operates a dental treatment marketing and enquiry service, based in Tirana, Albania. We are the data controller for the enquiry you submit through this website, up to the point we pass it on (see section 5). You can reach us by emailing [email protected] or through the Contact page on this website.

2. What we are (and are not)

We are not a dental practice or a medical provider. We advertise dental treatment carried out at a dental clinic in Tirana, Albania, and when you send an enquiry we pass your contact details to that clinic and to the call centre / operator it uses. We do not provide dental or medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or prices, and we do not make or manage the calls you receive.

3. What we collect

  • Information you give us on the enquiry form: name, email address, phone number, country, the treatment you're considering, your preferred call time and any message you add.
  • Consent records: which consent boxes you ticked, the exact wording shown to you, and the date and time.
  • Technical and marketing data: a one-way hashed version of your IP address, your browser user-agent, the page you submitted from, the referring page, and campaign parameters (for example UTM tags, gclid, fbclid).

Please do not send us clinical records, images or health details you would not want shared with the clinic and its call centre. Any health information you choose to provide is treated as special-category data and is processed only on the basis of your explicit consent.

4. Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • To pass your enquiry to the dental clinic and its call centre — lawful basis: your consent.
  • To contact you by phone, and where offered by SMS or email, about your enquiry — lawful basis: your consent (and, in the US, your prior express written consent for autodialed / prerecorded calls and texts).
  • To send you optional marketing, if you opted in — lawful basis: your consent.
  • To keep records of consent, prevent fraud and abuse, and measure which marketing channels work — lawful basis: our legitimate interests.

5. Who we share it with

  • The dental clinic in Tirana, Albania that we advertise, and the call centre / operator it uses, so they can contact you about treatment.
  • Service providers that help us run the site and manage enquiries (for example hosting, database, email delivery and, if enabled, analytics and a CRM).
  • Authorities or advisers where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.

We may be paid a fee by the clinic for advertising and for the enquiries we send. We do not sell your personal information to anyone else.

6. Once we pass your enquiry on

From the moment we send your details to the clinic and its call centre, they hold their own copy and act as separate, independent data controllers under their own privacy policies. This means:

  • they — not us — decide whether, when and how often to contact you, and what to say;
  • they decide how long to keep your information and what else they do with it, including passing it to other parties;
  • we cannot access, correct or delete the information they hold, and we are not responsible for how they handle it or for their compliance with the law;
  • any request about the information they hold — including a request about how they contact you — must be made to the clinic and its call centre directly. Albania Dental Care cannot make or action such a request for you.

We'll name the clinic and its call centre here, with a link to their own privacy policy, once that information is finalised.

7. International transfers

The clinic and its call centre are located in Albania, which is outside the UK, and they may pass your details to others involved in arranging your treatment there. Where we transfer your data internationally we rely on your explicit consent and/or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), which we'll confirm here once the clinic relationship is formalised.

8. How long we keep it

We keep the enquiry and the consent record for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then delete or anonymise it, unless we need to keep it longer to comply with the law or handle a dispute. The clinic and its call centre set their own retention periods for the copy they hold.

9. Your rights against us

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the enquiry we hold, or correct or delete it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it, or port it elsewhere;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out, by emailing [email protected] or telling the clinic or its call centre directly. This stops us passing your details on again and we will delete the enquiry we hold. It has no effect on the clinic or its call centre, who hold their own copy under their own policies (see section 6).

You can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO; in the EU, your national authority).

10. Phone and text consent

When you submit the form you are shown, and asked to agree to, the following:

  • I agree that Albania Dental Care may pass my name and phone number (and email address, where given) to the dental clinic it advertises for in Albania and to that clinic's call centre / operator, and I authorise them (and anyone they engage) to contact me about dental treatment at the phone number I have provided — by telephone call and, where offered, by text message (SMS). I understand that this consent is not a condition of using Albania Dental Care. I can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing [email protected], or by telling the clinic or its call centre directly, which stops Albania Dental Care passing my details on again. I understand that Albania Dental Care does not make these calls and does not control whether, when or how often the clinic or its call centre contacts me, and that the clinic and its call centre are responsible for their own contact practices.   • I have read and agree to the Privacy Notice. I understand that once Albania Dental Care passes my enquiry to the dental clinic and its call centre, they act as a separate, independent data controller under their own privacy policy; that Albania Dental Care cannot access, change or delete the information they hold; that they decide how they contact me and how long they keep my information; and that they are located in Albania, outside the UK, and may pass my details to others involved in arranging my treatment.   • Optional: I would also like to receive occasional updates and offers about dental treatment in Tirana, Albania from Albania Dental Care by phone or text. I can unsubscribe at any time. (optional)

Consent to be contacted is never a condition of using Albania Dental Care or of any purchase. Withdrawing it with us — by emailing [email protected] or telling the clinic directly — stops us passing your details on again; how the clinic and its call centre then contact you is a matter for them.

11. Cookies & analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics and advertising tools (for example Google Ads and Meta conversion tracking), which may set cookies or similar technology to measure which enquiries came from which campaign. These are not strictly necessary for the site to work, and where the law requires it we ask for your consent before they are set.

12. Children

This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

13. Changes

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
